We are an italian company who works worldwide in the production, strictly made in Italy, of high quality plant parts, located in Grassobbio (Bergamo) in a well connected indutrial district. AFI, thanks to specialists and engineers supported by the means of best available tools and softwares on the market, can make the complete plant and process engineering. Whenever required, in particularly critical areas, we can even manage direct cooperations with specialized companies, in order to supply to our customers an appropriate and effective solution.

All manufacturing and assembly works are carried out by qualified personnel, following international standards, based on customer's requests and in accordance with the good practice standards. Regarding the manufacturing process, the PQRs and the WPS dictate the procedures to be complied with scrupulously. All welding activities are carried out by licensed personnel according to the applicable ASME and ISO standards. Non-destructive checks are carried out by certified personnel.

What we do
Machinery AFI has a consolidated competence in the critical areas of movement in the steel industry. We carry out detailed engineering for the construction of machines, of the most varied types, necessary for an increasingly competitive production.
Piping&Tubing AFI provides detailed engineering services for the main utilities serving the plant. The documents are delivered, depending on the customer's preferences, in 2D or 3D format. In case of need, AFI is available to carry out the surveys on site and carry out the complete engineering obtaining the bill of materials useful for the direct procurement by the customer.
Supervisor Services on site AFI has a group of technicians specialized in the verification and management of plant assembly and / or maintenance work. Based on the customer's needs, we are able to provide mechanical, electrical and software supervisors that verify that the operations carried out on site comply with what is reported in the approved project specifications.
Expediting Services AFI provides a third party inspection service to allow our customers to guarantee the quality of the entire supply chain, from raw materials to finished products. Our expediting services include preventive checks to avoid potential delays. An effective expediting service ensures that the delivery of the product takes place on schedule and allows you to reduce costs by actively working to improve delivery times.
AFI supplies materials and spare parts of main international brands. In the event of unavailability of the original devices on the market because of out of production, based on the characteristics of the process, we are able to find valid alternatives that guarantee the same system performances.
Steel structures AFI manufactures steel parts and certified support structures for civil (anti-seismic), industrial and completion of air, water and process equipment support systems.
Machines and plants AFI fabricates plants for the steel, textile and petrochemical areas. All machines or machine parts are equipped with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical plants on board. We also make available the reports of the tests performed and certificates of the materials used for construction.
PIPING & TUBING AFI produces pipes for conveying fluids and gases that requires high construction standards and reliable process flows. Piping is tested and, if necessary, controlled through non-destructive investigation methods (both superficial and volumetric) such as the VT, PT, MT or RT. Piping is supplied painted and installed on prefabricated or bundled skids ready for shipment. In case of different needs or requirements, in agreement with the customer, we will provide piping as per the received instructions.
Our plant revamping specialists design basing on a deep knowledge of the subject and a direct experience consolidated over years. We are not only experts in new equipments but also a reliable partner for modernization and standardization projects of existing plants.
